We're doing a pop-up at the excellent Ben's Canteen, Earlsfield branch, this Wednesday evening- they're pairing wines with our pizzas, which will be interesting and enjoyable. We're doing a full menu, first time we've done this formally other than at the odd wedding or private event.
Charcuterie with home-made piccalilli and Canvas rye bread
DIY Bruschetta- choose from mushroom and truffle or broad bean hummus and Rosary goat's cheese
Pizzas are the lovely usuals (Marg, Meaty Marg), a truly reliable marinara for the vegans, plus a few seasonal specials=
Spinach, Berkswell ewe's cheese and ricotta with tomato and garlic
Pepperoni, Jerusalem artichoke béchamel and cavolo nero (photo below)
'Nduja, squash, sage, roasted garlic, ricotta
Affogato or chocolate torte & mascarpone. Have been experimenting with a rye shortcrust on the torte and have eaten SO MUCH CHOCOLATE in the last 7 days... but it's all been very nice. I must start flossing though if my teeth are to remain intact.
